Terms of Service
Effective date: October 20, 2026 · Operated by BayGull AI
1. Acceptance
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and BayGull AI (“we”, “us”), the operator of Squire at squirepdf.com. By creating an account or using the service you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Squire for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract where you live. We do not knowingly let anyone under 13 register; if we learn that we have, we delete the account.
3. The service
Squire is a PDF workbench: projects to organise documents, a workspace to run operations such as merge, split, rotate, delete pages and compress, and results that keep their history. Documents are processed in your browser. Squire is a tool, not a legal, financial or professional adviser; check your output before you rely on it.
4. Accounts
Accounts are created through our sign-in provider. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us at manish@redshiftvelocity.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
5. Plans and payment
Early access. Squire is currently free. Features, limits and availability may change while it is in early access.
What counts. Operations (merge, split, rotate, delete, compress) are free and unlimited. The free plan includes a number of finished results per calendar month: a result counts when you mark it complete, when a tool tab produces it, or when you download several documents merged into one. Downloading a finished result again does not count. The current limit is shown in the app. If you believe a result was counted wrongly, email us within 30 days with the reference shown on your usage page and we will correct it.
Paid plans. When paid plans launch, prices, billing periods and what is included will be shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time for the end of the current period. Unless the law where you live says otherwise, payments are not refundable once a period has started; if you believe a mandatory consumer right applies to you, contact us and we will honour it. You are responsible for any taxes.
6. Acceptable use
Use Squire lawfully. You agree not to:
- process documents you have no right to use, or that are unlawful;
- use bots, scrapers or automation to access the service;
- share your account or resell access;
- reverse engineer the service or interfere with how it runs;
- use the service to break any law.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. Your content
Your documents are yours. They are processed in your browser and are not sent to us, so we need no licence to them and we never use them to train anything. If a future feature stores files on your behalf (for example copying a project to your Google Drive), that feature will say so before you turn it on.
BayGull AI keeps all rights in the service itself: its software, design, branding and the Squire name. You get a limited, revocable licence to use it under these Terms. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that output will be accurate.
Where the law where you live does not allow some of these exclusions, they apply only as far as it permits.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BayGull AI and its people and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims under these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and USD 10.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you will defend and indemnify BayGull AI against claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of the rights of someone else or of the law.
11. Disputes
Talk to us first. Before any formal step, email manish@redshiftvelocity.com and we will try to resolve the matter within 30 days.
Arbitration. If that fails, disputes about these Terms or the service are resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, applying California law, in San Francisco, California or by remote hearing at your choice. Either party may instead bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court. Class actions and class-wide arbitration are waived to the extent permitted by law. If you live somewhere that guarantees you a different forum, that right is not affected.
12. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, or stop offering the service with reasonable notice. Sections 7 to 11 survive termination.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new Terms.
